How to contribute

To add your own photographs to the People's Arboretum, follow this step-by-step guide.

• If you don't already have an account, register with Flickr.

• Upload your photos of trees to Flickr.

• Tag them with their scientific species name as listed on this website.

• If you want to, you can put them on the Flickr map, which will then mean they are displayed on the Interactive Globe on this website.

• Share your photos with the People's Arboretum group. You will need to join the group first before you can add any photos.

• The latest photos for each species will be automatically displayed on this website.

• The People's Arboretum only displays the latest 20 photos for each species so if yours aren't up there and you want to see them on the site, take some more!
