Country: Ethiopia Habitat: Grassland outside Juniperetum on lava. Mountain up to c. 2200 m. Partly lava with black clay soil and open grassland, partly sandstone with sandy soil and Juniperus forest largely degraded to Dodonea, etc. scrub and Cynodon, etc. sward some cultivation.
Location: MEGA, S. Ethiopia. Kenya-Ethiopia Boundary Commission Plant Description: Flowers yellow. Abundant
Lat and Long: 4 5 N , 38 20 E General Comments: Rainfall (av. of 4 years) 515 mm. ; much additional moisture from low cloud. More information given
