Country: Pakistan Habitat: Montane; steep scree slopes. Aspect S. Parent rock mixed metamorphic, with soiltype poor, stony and dry. Associated with Artemisia, Ribes, Allium, Juniper, Cicerbita and Orobanche.
Location: NE Pakistan Deosai Plains Sadpara Lake Deosai Plains, Sadpara Lake on the Chilam to Skardu track in Ali Malik Pass, a few hundred yards from the start of the descent. Plant Description: Site 10. Collected from 20 specimens, in a population of <100. Approxiamte sampled population area <1 hectare, with 10-50% of plants in fruit. Plant to 1m, with spread to 0.5m. Species local in open. Very fragrant cream and blue flowers. Seed heads grazed
