Country: Indonesia Habitat: Lowland tropical rain forest on alluvium. Along a black water stream flowing into the Kopi River (also black water). Forest including Pometia.
Location: Mount Jaya, Papua. Mimika Regency, PT-Freeport Indonesia Concession Area: Between Kali Kopi levee (new E Levee) and the Kopi River. Plant Description: Trunk to 2m tall and 4 - 5 cm wide. Eight fronds on trunk. Fronds in terminal area of trunk, of which only 1 is fertile, with a few fertile pinnae on a damaged second frond. Stipe to 6 - 7 c,m long, gree.
